For the UAV operations a temporary danger area “Hailuoto West” EFD 451 (EF_SUP_2018_006_en) has been set up by the Finnish civil aviation authorities. The area covers ca 20 km^2 along the West coast of Hailuoto and extends up to FL65, leaving us with ca. 1800 m vertical range for our UAV operations. The danger are has to be activated until 12 UTC the work day prior to the operations. Start and end of UAV operations have to be communicated with Oulu AMC.
