Finally, we are on site after a very short night at Helsinki airport and a in total 10 hour delay. 
After unpacking the most essential stuff and dressing for temperatures of -17 degC we tried to make use of the few hours of daylight to take a look at the area and define the locations for our instrumentation. Quite massive ice-ridges up to 5 meters made this exercise much more 
challenging than expected but eventually we managed to agree on a nice location for our mast and the other instrumentation. The rest of the day we spent on preparing the mast, instrumentation and unpacking the rest of our equipment. 
Oh, and the FMI sodar has been installed and is up and running.
